I graduated from WMU Flight Program in 1967, obtained my ATP in Lear's, taught flying with Kal-Aero, flew aircraft for Stryker, and on-occasion, for Upjohn. Ended my Corporate flying career with a company that built the Alaska Pipeline. What you explain to potential students about the ups and downs within the flying field are so true and they need to know that when starting out. It can be a great life, but have something to fall back on. Even with the pitfalls that are sure to appear along the path, flying is the greatest way to become personally responsible for yourself and others. Nothing compare with that "First Solo!"
